How CHAS Dental Subsidy Works

All Singapore Citizens can apply for CHAS. Every household is required to submit an application in order to receive the card. The CHAS benefits will be tiered according to household monthly income per person (for households with income) or the Annual Value (AV) of the home (for households with no income). The colour of the CHAS card indicates the subsidy tier that cardholders are entitled to, namely the CHAS Blue, Orange or Green tier. All Pioneer Generation (PG) and Merdeka Generation (MG) seniors also receive special subsidies at CHAS clinics. The amount that cardholders pay will be based on the fees charged by the clinic, minus the CHAS subsidies.

Services Covered Under CHAS Dental Subsidy

CHAS Blue, CHAS Orange, PG, and MG cardholders are eligible to receive subsidies for selected dental services at participating dental clinics. The table below shows the dental services covered under CHAS, along with the claim limits and subsidy amounts for each service based on the different CHAS tiers.

It is important to highlight that the dentist will conduct a clinical assessment to determine whether patients meet the CHAS claim guidelines for each dental procedure. For more information, patients are encouraged to discuss their specific case with their dentists.
